Governance
Bass Coast Regional Health is governed by a voluntary 12 person Board, that is appointed by the Governor-in-Council on the recommendation of the Victorian Minister for Health. Members are appointed for a term not exceeding three years after which time reappointment may be sought.
The Board of Management is responsible for setting the strategic directions of this public healthcare service within the framework of government policy. The functions of the Board are determined by the Health Services Act 1988.
